Moon Jellyfish

Aurelia aurita also known as the common jellyfish can be found worldwide. Type 1 Aurelia should be kept between 15-18 Deg C and can live up to a year becoming sexually mature within the first few months you can easily identify females by planula (eggs) forming inside of them. Aurelia feed well on planktonic creatures and you can easily see the food being stored in gastic tissue surrounding the 4 classic horse shoe shaped gonads. These really are a fascinating creature and are truely mesmorising to watch

Live jellyfish cannot be returned however in the unfortunate circumstance where jellyfish arrive damaged through transport issues, photographic evidence must be shown then a full refund will be issued.

Premium overnight delivery by a DEFRA registered courier. Your jellyfish will arrive before 12 noon and will be packed to a high standard. 

 

Once your order is placed we will make contact to arrange a suitable delivery day. Our courier service will only deliver live jellyfish on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (not bank holidays)
